Finding True Inner Peace: From Surviving to Thriving

Hi, I’m Joanne. If you are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or held back by invisible walls, I want you to know you are not alone—and more importantly, change is possible.

For over 15 years, I’ve worked as a professional Tarot Reader and Spiritual Medium, helping people locally in the East Midlands and across the globe find clarity and guidance. But my path to helping others started with a long, hard-fought journey back to myself.

My Story: Walking Through the Dark to Find the Light

My teenage years were marked by deep trauma, most notably losing my Dad when I was just 14. I didn’t know how to process that kind of grief. I bottled it up, acted like everything was fine, and fell apart on the inside, turning to self-harm and subconscious self-sabotage just to cope.

When I was 18, I moved into a bungalow with my partner. That was when severe agrophobia took hold, leaving me entirely housebound. I hated myself, feared the world, and relied on my partner for everything from basic shop runs to constant emotional comfort.

At age 20, everything shifted when I was introduced to mindfulness, affirmations, and meditation.

In the beginning, it was brutal. My mind raced, and I struggled to stay focused. But I refused to give up. I learned to stop fighting my thoughts, accept them, and gently let them go. Through stillness, I finally learned how to organize my internal world. Slowly, the intrusive thoughts lost their grip. I conquered my agoraphobia entirely on my own.

Later, when learning to drive triggered that familiar wave of panic, I applied the exact same tools and overcame it once again. I learned a vital truth: fear isn't a stop sign; it's a teacher.

Now in my thirties, after years of dedicated study, formal courses, and deep daily practice, I have mastered the art of mental alignment. When your mindset changes, the world around you changes.

Today, I weave my lifelong foundation of mindfulness, meditation, and goal-setting with my established background in tarot and mediumship.
